August 12, 2010 (Thursday) Location The Ambassador Ballroom, 8900 SW Commerical St., Tigard, OR West Coast Swing - Beginning (1 of 5) When: 6:30-7:30p.m. Descriptions: This series introduces you to the basic patterns and essential techniques of West Coast Swing. At the end of the series, you will have the tools and skills you need to succeed on the social dance floor and, hopefully, the desire to learn more about this exciting and creative dance!
Price: (5 weeks/$35, drop-in $9) West Coast Swing - Intermediate (1 of 5) When: 8:30-9:30p.m. Descriptions: Expand your basic vocabulary with spins and turns, syncopations, and other essential additions to your dance technique. Learn footwork variations that will help you be even more creative with your dance! Class materials change with each series, making it possible to repeat the intermediate level and learn new skills each time. Because there is so much material to cover, this class is broken into two five-week series that can be taken in any order.
